Yoga has been a very important part of my life for the last 10 years. It has helped me to be healthy, balanced, focused and to view life as a wonderful gift to be celebrated.
In 2006, after my first year of University studies, I decided to immerse myself in a month-long Kripalu Yoga Teacher training at the Kripalu Centre for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts. I’ve used this training as a life tool in a myriad of ways – as a yoga teacher, as a student, as a musician, as a volleyball coach, as a university teaching assistant, as a friend, as a sister and as a daughter.
I am a graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University and I have a Masters degree in Sustainability Studies from Trent University.
I have been practicing Moksha Yoga for the last year and a half. I find it to be a wonderful exploration of all the life enriching benefits of yoga. As a yoga advisor at Moksha Yoga Maple I feel honoured to be able to share, guide and inspire in any way I can to make this world a better place to live.
As our Yoga Advisor, Emily is your go to girl if you have any questions about memberships or packages, if you are interested in knowing more about our events and workshops at the studio and also if you would like to provide any feedback about our studio teachers and staff. Feel free to email her anytime as she is looking forward to connecting with you soon!
